2007 Hispanic Heritage Proclamation, Fairfax County Government



2007 Hispanic Heritage Month
Fairfax Hispanic Firefighters Association (FHFA) members attend the 2007 Hispanic Heritage Month Ceremony. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has designated Sept. 15-Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairfax County. This month is celebrated throughout the United States to commemorate contributions made by Hispanic Americans to our nation. Hispanic Americans have enriched our county through contributions in many professions and fields, including education, law, government, business, science, sports and the arts.

2007 World Police and Fire Games



Technician Marguerite Dabe-Colby, Fairfax Hispanic Firefighter Association (FHFA) member wins 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals in 2007 World Police and Fire Games, Adelaide, Australia, March 16-24, 2007. Captain Jerome Williams is also from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
